Realme partners with Optiemus to make earphones, smartwatches and tablets in India
Chinese smartphone company Realme on Wednesday (April 16, 2025) announced its partnership with Noida-based Optiemus Electronics to make AIoT products like earphones, smartwatches and tablets in India.
Both the companies aim to produce 5 million units annually and generate over 2,000 new employment opportunities in India.
They said that products such as the Realme Buds T200 series, Buds wireless series, and Buds Air series will start rolling out local production lines by this year. The production of Realme Buds T200 Lite has already started, the companies informed.
Realme plans to fuel the local demand with this new announcement and also looking to export these AIoT products to global markets.

Realme also said that it is accelerating efforts to source a majority of critical components, such as PCBAs, batteries, mechanics, cables, and chargers, from within India.
