Samsung launches Galaxy M56 5G with Exynos processor and One UI 7 in India

Samsung on Thursday (April 17, 2025) launched the Galaxy M56 5G smartphone in India. The mid segment phone will offer 6 generations of Android upgrades and 6 years of security updates.

Galaxy M56 5G has a 6.7 inch FHD+ Super AMOLED+ display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and 1,200 nits peak brightness. The smartphone is protected with Gorilla Glass Victus+ on both front and back.

Galaxy M56 5G ships with a 5,000 mAh battery and it supports 45W charging.

Galaxy M56 5G runs on the 4nm based Exynos 1480 processor with 8 GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 256 GB storage.

Galaxy M56 5G will come with One UI 7 based on Android 15 out of the box. One UI 7 comes with a simplified home screen, redesigned One UI widgets and lock screen. Now Bar is also available on Galaxy M56 5G with real-time updates on the lock screen.

Galaxy M56 5G will also have the Samsung Knox Vault, a hardware-based security system that protects against both hardware and software attacks.

Galaxy M56 5G sports a 50 MP main camera with OIS and a 12 MP front camera with AI editing tools.

Galaxy M56 5G comes in Light Green and Black colours starting at an introductory price of ₹24,999 for 8 GB/128 GB. The 8 GB/256 GB variant costs ₹27,999.
