PM Modi speaks to Elon Musk, discusses ‘potential collaboration in technology’
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Friday (April 18, 2025) that he spoke to Elon Musk and talked about “various issues, including the topics we covered during our meeting in Washington DC earlier this year.”
Without mentioning when the conversation took place, Mr. Modi said in his post on X (formally Twitter), that they discussed the immense potential for collaboration in the areas of technology and innovation.

Mr. Musk, one of the most influential persons in the Donald Trump administration, is spearheading the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) aimed at cutting government expenditure and reducing federal workforce.
During his visit to the United States in February, Mr. Modi had met Mr. Musk in Washington DC.
