CtrlS Datacenters to invest ₹10,000 Crore in AI Datacentre cluster in Telangana

The Telangana government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with CtrlS Datacenters Limited to establish a cutting-edge AI Datacentre cluster in Telangana. This agreement was finalised during the World Economic Forum (WEF) annual conference 2025 in Davos, Switzerland on Tuesday (January 21, 2025).

The proposed AI Datacentre Cluster will feature a capacity of 400 MW, representing an investment of ₹10,000 crores. The project is expected to generate 3,600 jobs, both direct and indirect, and contribute significantly to the State’s economy through incremental tax revenues.

According to Minister for IT and Industries D. Sridhar Babu, “This collaboration with CtrlS is a significant milestone in our journey to establish Telangana as a global leader in digital infrastructure and technology.”

CtrlS Datacenters Limited founder and CEO, Sridhar Pinnapureddy said, “We are thrilled to collaborate with the Government of Telangana to bring this transformative project to life.”

Special Chief Secretary, Telangana ITE&C Department, Jayesh Ranjan said, “This partnership highlights Telangana’s proactive approach to supporting large-scale investments in the IT sector.”
