HP launches Omen Max 16 gaming laptop with Intel and Nvidia processors in India
HP on Wednesday (April 16, 2025) launched the Omen Max 16 gaming laptop suitable even for AAA titles in India running Intel processor and Nvidia GPU along with AI features on-board.
HP Omen Max has a 16-inch 2560×1600 IPS panel with a 240 Hz refresh rate, 500 nits peak brightness, and full sRGB coverage. It also supports a variable refresh rate (VRR).
It comes with customisable per-key RGB lighting and an optional RGB light bar, both fully adjustable via Omen Light Studio.
The Omen Max 16 has the Omen Gaming Hub that fine-tune system settings, power modes, and cooling preferences for gamers.

HP Omen Max 16 uses the Intel’s 24-core Ultra 9-275HX processor and Nvidia’s RTX 5080 GPU. It comes with 32 GB of DDR5 RAM (5600MT/s) and a 1 TB PCIe 5.0 SSD. HP claims a combined CPU and GPU power draw of over 250W (75W CPU + 175W GPU), supported by a dual fan cooling system.
It has a 1080p FHD IR camera with temporal noise reduction and dual-array digital microphones.
HP has also introduced Omen AI Beta, an AI-driven solution for optimising gaming performance. It continuously adapts, learning from gameplay patterns to refine OS, hardware, and in-game settings for peak efficiency.
HP Omen Max 16 comes in a metal chassis offering Ceramic White or Shadow Black colours at a starting price of ₹3,09,999. It is available on HP online store and Amazon.
