Google Pixel 9a available for purchase now in India: Features, price

Google’s newly launched Pixel 9a is now available for purchase in India with availability across Flipkart, Croma, and Reliance Digital. Launched on March 19, the Pixel 9a took almost a month for on-shelf availability.

The Pixel 9a has a 6.3-inch Actua display with a variable refresh rate between 60 to 120 Hz. The pOLED screen offers a peak brightness of 2,700 nits. The display is being protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

Google has used a 5,100 mAh battery in Pixel 9a suitable for a 45 W adapter and is certified for wireless Qi-certified charging. Google claims over 30 hours battery back up on Pixel 9a.

Google Pixel 9a runs on Tensor G4 processor found in Pixel 9, 9 Pro, 9 Pro XL and Pixel 9 Pro Fold.

Google will provide 7 generation of OS and 7 years of security updates to the Pixel 9a. It will run Android 15 out of the box. It is IP68 rated as well for dust and water.

The Pixel 9a sports a 48 MP main camera with OIS and EIS along with a 13 MP ultrawide lens. It has a 13 MP front camera for selfies. The camera supports Night sight, macro, super res up to 8x, astrophotography, portrait mode.
