Motorola launches Moto G05 entry segment phone with Android 15
Motorola on Tuesday (January 7, 2025) launched the Moto G05 smartphone for entry segment consumers in India with vegan leather design at the back and Android 15 out of the box.
The Moto G05 has a 6.67 inch punch hole display with a 90 Hz refresh rate and 1,000 nits of peak brightness. It also supports water touch technology that adjusts sensitivity when wet.
Moto G05 is IP52 rated for dust and splash resistance.
Motorola has incorporated a 5,200 mAh battery along with an 18 W charger included in the box.

The Moto G05 runs on MediaTek Helio G81 Extreme processor with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage. Virtual RAM till 12 GB is also available. Additionally, the storage can be expanded up to 1 TB via a dedicated microSD card.
The entry segment phone comes with a triple SIM card slot
Moto G05 sports a 50 MP rear and an 8 MP front camera. The phone does support tools like Google Photo Editor, Magic Unblur, Magic Eraser, and Magic Editor.
The Moto G05 has been priced at ₹6,999 and comes in single variant only. It is available in Forest Green and Plum Red shades. It will go on sale on Flipkart, Motorola’s website and leading retail stores starting January 13.
